Three membership types. Requirements below.

Full Member

Combat Veteran

  • Must be of good character.
  • Veteran of a Foreign War, in a Combat Zone (verified with DD-214 or Deployment Orders).
  • Must present a copy of the DD-214.
  • Must own and operate a motorcycle of 500cc or greater, and provide proof, including registration, insurance, and motorcycle endorsement on the driver’s license.

Support Member

Veteran who did not serve in a Combat Zone

  • Must be of good character.
  • Must present a copy of the DD-214.
  • Must own a motorcycle of 500cc or greater, and provide proof, including registration, insurance, and motorcycle endorsement on the driver’s license.
  • Sponsored by a Full Member who has been a Full Member for at least one year. Must have ridden a minimum of 3,000 verifiable miles with the sponsor, attended three CVMA® events with the sponsor, or have been known for at least six months by the sponsor.

Auxiliary Member

Spouse of a Full or Support Member

  • Must be of good character.
  • Sponsor (Full Member or Support Member) must be in good standing with the CVMA®.
  • Must support the efforts of all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces and the CVMA®.
